Traffic stop. Ledroit St. 1:50 a.m. A 44-year-old Laguna Niguel man was cited for DUI and held for $10,000 bail.
Attempted burglary. 31500 block of Table Rock Dr. 10:08 a.m. Someone attempted entry through a backyard window.
Petty theft. 31600 block of Second Ave. 12:30 p.m. A 54-year-old female alleges that about $1,000 in clothing has gone missing from her house and believes a previous caregiver is responsible.
Petty theft. 300 block of Ocean Ave. 1:25 p.m. A shopkeeper who caught a woman shoplifting five panties worth $25 each called police, but declined to prosecute. Police arrested the suspected shoplifter, a local transient, 39, for being drunk in public.
Speed race. N. Coast hwy. 1:52 p.m. A citizen reported a vehicle racing at 100 mph, but further details were unavailable.
Wednesday, Sept. 4
Traffic stop. Glenneyre St. 11:04 p.m. A 26-year-old Aliso Viejo man was arrested for an outstanding warrant and held for $2500 bail.
Thursday, Sept. 5
Detective activity. 300 block of Cliff Dr. 3 p.m. Alisa Rose Andrew, 43, of Laguna Beach, was arrested for two outstanding petty theft warrants and held for $10,000 bail.
Traffic stop. 400 block of N. Coast Hwy. A 33-year-old Tennessee visitor was cited for DUI and held for $2500 bail.
Fraud. 700 block of Balboa Ave. 10:30 a.m. Officers recovered a package with $400 that was sent by an 87-year-old resident, who keeps responding to a phone scam.
Fraud. 800 block of balboa Ave. a.m. 11:57 a.m. A resident was called by his bank and told that $500 had been charged to his credit card in Michigan.
Friday, Sept. 6
Traffic collision. 300 block of Cliff Dr. 7:11 p.m. As a result of a two-car collision, a 32-year-old Mission Viejo woman was cited for DUI and held for $2500 bail.
Suspicious circs.. 30800 block of Coast Hwy. 5:43 a.m. A 19-year-old Long Beach woman was cited for a misdemeanor after hotel security reported a fight involving eight people.
Saturday, Sept. 7
Suspicious vehicle. 500 block of St. Ann’s Dr. 10:56 a.m. Daniel Giulio Decollibus, 26, of Laguna Niguel, was arrested for suspicion of possessing a controlled substance as well as paraphernalia after someone reported his actions, getting in and out of a car parked backwards. Bail was set at $20,000.
H&S activity. Circle Way. 9:22 p.m. As a result of someone reporting suspicious drug activity, police arrested a 27-year-old Santa Ana man for outstanding vehicle code and petty theft warrants and held for $10,000 bail.
Sunday, Sept. 8
Traffic stop. Catalina St. 12:31 a.m. A 57-yer-old Glendale man was cited for DUI and held for $2500 bail.
DUI. 2100 block of Park Ave. 1 a.m. As a result of someone who reported hearing a collision into a guard rail, police arrested a 23-year-old Los Angeles woman for suspicion of DUI. The black Porsche she was driving had damage to the passenger side.
Attempted burglary. 1200 block of S. Coast Hwy. 6:37 a.m. A break was discovered in the front door glass, though police believe no one gained entry.
Vandalism. 1500 block of N. Coast Hwy. Noon. A woman claims a landlord changed the locks of her home and threw out her possessions, including a missing pet turtle, without 30-day notice.
Suspicious person. 20600 block of Laguna Canyon Rd. 6 a.m. Miguel Carapia Hernandez, 40, with no permanent address, was arrested for suspicion of indecent exposure after he allegedly lifted a skirt he was wearing to reveal his private parts and moved his hips suggestively.
