Traffic collision. 900 block of Summit Way. 6:53 p.m. A motorcyclist who lost control and was thrown off complained of pain to his leg and was transported for treatment.
Wednesday, April 27
Suspicious. 300 block of Forest Ave. 12:52 p.m. A 49-year-old Laguna Beach woman was arrested for suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled drug.
Traffic collision. Anita St. 2:39 p.m. A 25-year-old Laguna Beach resident suffered non-life-threatening injuries when struck in a crosswalk by a northbound vehicle. The collision is under investigation.
Thursday, April 28
Plate reader. Laguna Canyon Rd. 1:14 a.m. Officers arrested Anthony Evans, 37, of Seattle, Wash., for suspicion of felony vehicle theft and possession of a methamphetamine. He was behind the wheel of a car stolen in Bishop the day before.
Petty theft. 600 block of Glenneyre St. 8:42 a.m. Police spotted a bike stolen hours earlier in the possession of River Bowles, 21, of Laguna Beach, who was arrested for suspicion of burglary and methamphetamine possession.
Vandalism. 400 block of Cress St. 8:58 a.m. A front window was smashed, though nothing was taken.
Lifeguard rescue. 31100 block of Coast Hwy. 9:42 a.m. A nude man who ran out into the water was returned to shore for a mental health evaluation.
Petty theft. 200 block of Broadway St. 10:19 a.m. A 57-year-old woman was arrested for theft for allegedly shoplifting underwear.
Vehicle burglary. 20200 block of Laguna Canyon Rd. 12:24 p.m. A break in occurred 16 days earlier.
Fraud. 500 block of Agate St. 1:23 p.m. The victim suspects her husband of cashing a $12,000 fraudulent check.
Fraud. 200 block of Chiquita St. 3:32 p.m. A resident fell prey to a phone scam, buying $800 worth of gift cards and providing the card numbers to a charlatan claiming to be with the IRS.

Traffic stop. 300 block of Forest Ave. 1:02 a.m. A 32-year-old Capo Beach woman was cited for DUI.
Saturday, April 30
Traffic stop. S. Coast Hwy. 2:20 a.m. A 28-year-old Laguna Hills man was cited for DUI.
Traffic collision. Canyon Acres Dr. 4:56 a.m. A motorist who lost control of a vehicle struck and cracked a utility pole.
Fraud. 800 block of Temple Hills Dr. 8:56 a.m. A resident’s credit card statement included a fraudulent $898 charge.
Battery. 31800 block of Coast Hwy. 10:36 a.m. An inquiry is underway after a patient reported an assault nine days earlier.
Grand theft. El Toro Rd. 1:13 p.m. A woman recovered her laptop in Huntington Beach after two bags were stolen from her vehicle.
Traffic collision. 700 block of S. Coast Hwy. 4:59 p.m. A cyclist sustained minor injuries after a turning car collided with the cyclist.
Pedestrian stop. Lagunita Drive. 7 p.m. Alexa Paige Curtin, 23, of Mission Viejo, was arrested for several outstanding warrants.
Drunk driving. Cliff Dr. 9 p.m. A 58-year-old Laguna Niguel was cited for DUI after she was spotted driving erratically.
DUI. S. Coast Hwy. 9:13 p.m. A 63-year-old Laguna Beach woman, who was seen weaving in lanes, was cited for DUI.
Sunday, May 1
Traffic stop. 100 block of N. Coast Hwy. 12:29 a.m. A 23-year-old Lake Forest man was cited for DUI.
Traffic stop. Legion St. 1:25 a.m. A Norwalk teen was cited for DUI.
Stolen vehicle. Ledroit St. 4:39 a.m. Michael Moran, 27, and Nestor Garcia, 28, both of Santa Ana, were arrested for suspicion of auto theft, possessing stolen property and burglary tools. Garcia faces two more charges; allegedly lying about his identity and driving on a suspended license. The pair were in a vehicle stolen in Anaheim the day before.
Vehicle burglary. 2700 block of Victoria Dr. 9:50 a.m. A car parked in a driveway was entered.
LBMC violation. 3200 block of Alta Laguna Blvd. 12:02 p.m. Matthew Morse Smith, 62, of Laguna Beach, was arrested for suspicion of DUI, his third, after an offended park-goer observed him urinating on a sidewalk.
Vehicle burglary. 31100 block of Coast Hwy. 7 p.m. A window was broken in a vehicle.
