A tree that shaded the Lumberyard restaurant pulled down wires and blocked lanes about 7 p.m.
Elsewhere and earlier in the day, wind uprooted trees or broke limbs in the 1400 block of Regatta Road, on Beach Street, and on Glenneyre Street, damaging cars in each location.
A construction fence that blew over in the 2300 block of Crestview Drive created a hazard and an elderly resident in the 31100 block of Ceonothus Drive feared a bowing window might blow out due to a broken seal, log reports show.
